What will happen to his kingdom?

This is the main question in our study in this chapter. We will search the Scriptures for answers. Let's consider some points about the last human empire in the world.

1. His kingdom will be momentary and eventually will fall:

• “Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain.” Revelation 16: 10

Every kingdom established by man on this earth came to an end. Not only the great Pharaohs of Egypt, but also, the Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks and the powerful Roman emperors. They built their magnificent strongholds, with sumptuous palaces ornamented with gold and precious stones. They conquered nations, enslaved and killed millions; however, they all disappeared with all their glory, just like the flowers of the field; which bloom, wither and die. Their majestic acropolis became rubble for archaeologists to investigate, excavating their relics, bones and mummies buried in the sands, transforming it into personal trophies or collections and artifacts in museums around the world. Daniel prophesied about the fate of every human kingdom, including the Beast’s empire: “And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.” Daniel 2: 44

The full domain of the Antichrist will last only 3 ½; however, the kingdom of Christ will remain forever, his glory will never end. In the following, we will see how the Man of Sin's empire will fade away like everyone else; however, there will be no mummification or funeral for this last tyrant.

God will intervene as He did in the days of the Tower of Babel when humanity declared: “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” Genesis 11: 4

Matthew Poole’s commentary on the above verse brings much information about the men’s plan without God. He wrote: “They take no care for God’s name, and the defense and propagation of the true religion, as duty bound them, but merely out of pride and vainglory labor to erect an everlasting monument of their wit, and wealth, and magnificence to all posterity. Their design was not to secure themselves against a flood, which they well knew brick buildings were no fence against; nor would they then have built this tower in a plain, but upon some high mountain; but rather to prevent a total and irrecoverable dispersion. They sought, therefore, to bind themselves together in one glorious empire, and to make this glorious city the capital seat of it, and the place of refuge and resort upon any considerable occasion.”

The antichrist's project is to make his name glorious. In the tower of Babel, men wanted to exalt their names, while the Man of Sin will not share his glory with no one else, following his hunger ambition to be worshipped which, only the Lord can receive it as described in the Scriptures: "am the Lord; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols.” Isaiah 42: 8

The Man of Sin’s goal is to make his name glorious. Like Hitler, he will work to set up his a thousand-year kingdom on earth. However, it will end in destruction and death like in Germany in 1945. The Fuhrer’s dream became a nightmare, and the Nazi ideology was destroyed. Before the greatest battle on earth, that we could call it World War III, the Antichrist "environmentally friendly" together with his New World Government will face the wrath of God.

2. From peace and prosperity to calamities:

“ For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.” I Thessalonians 5: 2-3

Jesus had told his disciples that the peace of this world had nothing to do with his peace, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14: 27

Peace in the government of the antichrist will be a deception, that is, a false peace. He will persecute and kill many Christians, blaspheme against the Lord, compact with Satan, and dominate mankind. According to Paul, when they think they have achieved their goals, perhaps by transmitting to the world the prosperity, glory, and power of their kingdom, this merciless creature along with his followers will be disappointed by the inevitable fate that awaits them: Divine judgment.

3. The true owner of the world

As I already mentioned, between the planet and man, God has chosen to save the latter. However, not all had accepted God’s salvation. The human pride blinded their minds to understand and to realize how foolish they are. This senseless idea of self-theism made them think that they own the planet. The Scriptures clearly declare not just once or twice, but dozens of times who really is the true landlord of the world. I will quote some of it:

“Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine.” Exodus 19:5

“The land shall not be sold permanently, for the land is Mine; for you are strangers and sojourners with Me.” Leviticus 25: 23

“Behold, to the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, and the earth and everything in it.” Deuteronomy 10:14

“Who has given to Me that I should repay him? Everything under heaven is Mine.” Job 41:11

“The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;” Psalm 24; 1

“If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is Mine, and the fullness thereof.” Psalm 50:12

“The heavens are Yours, and also the earth. The world and its fullness You founded.” Psalm 89:11

“…for, "The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof." 1 Corinthians 10:26

4) The frustration of the false environmentalists:

The beast's followers will not be able to see that, it is the true God who sends rain, light and every seed on earth. In contrast, they chose to worship and serve the creature rather than the Creator.

In the midst of the propaganda of its environmental conquests, the New World Order, chaired by the powerful and adored antichrist, it will boast about the protection and recovery of the ecosystem on the planet.

Deluded, yet proud because of the planet's “diminishing” pollution by the efforts of “proselytes of Mother Nature,” this is likely to be nothing more than a hoax as shown in the recent film produced by the leftist Michael Moore. He exposed with some others, the deception of Al Gore and his cronies about renewable energy. The world over the past two decades has believed the lies of these corrupt environmentalists, with the support of the most powerful world media outlets. According to the Scriptures, this happened and will happen simply because they despise divine knowledge and truth. Therefore, the deceiver will be at their disposal: “The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie.” II Thessalonians 2: 9-11

Ironically, an apocalyptic climate change will come upon them:

a) God will pollute the waters of the earth:

“Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.” Revelation 8: 8-9

“Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.” Revelation 8: 10-11

“Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living creature in the sea died.” Revelation 16: 3

“Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.” Revelation 16: 4

b) God will bring about rapid climate change through unimaginable devastation[1]

“Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat.” Revelation 16: 8-9

“And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth.” Revelation 16: 18

c) The fertile and prosperous agriculture of the Antichrist will be eradicated:

The agricultural success of the satanic empire through the genetic innovations of grains will be destroyed. God made the seed of each fruit with its unique genetic structure, changing it would bring serious consequences for the maintenance of life. The only resource to purify the earth from these contaminated seeds will be with fire, since such food could not be used in the millennium, where longevity will once again be established. According to the Scriptures to die at one hundred will be to die young: “Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed.” Isaiah 55: 20

In these days of judgment, the abundance of the antichrist's kingdom will turn into scarcity. The devastation of the fields will result in an overwhelming famine. Men will exchange their treasures for a piece of bread.

“When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.” Revelation 6: 5-6

“The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.” Revelation 8: 7

5. His followers will become like him

The Beast’s “New World Society” will receive the mark not only on their hand or forehead, but also in their hearts. For this reason they will not find a place for repentance in their lives, as children adopted by Satan, they will inherit the same fate of their father.

With the demonic nature rooted in their soul, humanity will serve and love the devil and ferocious enemies of God:

a) Irrecoverable, they will hate God

“And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.” Revelation 16: 9

“They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.” Revelation 16: 10

“Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.” Revelation 16: 21

b) Therefore, they will join their evil trinity in eternity

“If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb” Revelation 14: 9-10
